TAKAW SA TAAL HERITAGE TOWN : TAMPUHAN CAFE

My Taal Heritage Town experience wouldn’t be complete without dining in at one of the town’s famous cafe: Tampuhan Cafe. It is a small old house that converted in to a cute cafe.

Upon entering the cafe, we were greeted by the kind owner. She advised us that the cafe was full and we only have one option which was to have our cafe experience in the second floor of the old house. Well, not bad. We had the chance to tour around the old house while waiting for our order.

Tampuhan cafe is located along Agoncillo street and is one of a kind place to enjoy local foods such as lomi(they have the best lomi in town, I swear), tapsilog, and famous halo halo. The cafe also offers pastas like carbonara and pesto tinapa.

Me and my friend Clara ordered lomi and I can say that they have the best lomi in town. I swear! the taste was just so fantastic. We also had the halo-halo since it was super hot afternoon.

This cute cafe is definitely the cutest cafe I have been. The name, concepts and even the owner were just so cute haha! I’ll definitely dine in here again when I have the chance to come back.

Important Facts

The cafe was named “Tampuhan Cafe” after an intriguing painting of Juan Luna which hangs in the wall inside the café.

This cafe is also a Bed-and Breakfast hotel which offers an affordable accommodation for a short or longer stay.
