Calatagan Batangas, I am sure many of you guys already know about this place. It is famous for its world class beach resorts and various water sports activities. Calatagan is also rich in marine biodiversity making it a perfect destination for snorkeling and scuba diving.

We arrived at the resort before 2:00 p.m just a perfect timing for checking-in. After a while of talking to the front desk officer, we finally settled our bill and then we were accommodated by the kind staff and escorted us to our cottage.

THE FLOATING COTTAGE

Stilts Calatagan has eight beautiful cottages built on stilts over the water. All cottages have verandas with hammocks that are perfect for daydreaming, relaxing and watching dramatic sunsets. The cottages also have wooden stairs that provide direct access to the water below. The cottage also has a master's bedroom, guestroom, loft and living area which all have a clean look with white painted walls, sheets and pillowcases that would make you feel thankful for life’s joys in this cozy place away from home.

AMENITIES AND ACTIVITIES

The pool area is located near the reception area, and at the back of the restaurant. There's a 5-ft pool perfect for those who wants to have just a chill swimming with their love ones or friends. There's also a kiddie pool just beside the adult pool. Just be advised about the rules and regulations in terms of swimming attire, pool party and other activities nearby the pool area.

The resort also offer some water sports activities such as banana boat, stand up paddle board, Kayak, snorkeling, and island hopping. They also offers a mangrove tour for nature lovers who want to learn about the abundant mangroves, sea life and birds in the area. There's also a volleyball court and ATV car.

We've tried only the stand-up paddle board. It wasn’t that perfect time because it started to low-tide and the wave-current are getting stronger so we had to find a quite space to enjoy the stand-up paddling.

Beautiful beaches, breathtaking sunrises and gorgeous sunsets would make you feel have a blissful moments. This place is absolutely perfect for those who have a close affinity to nature. This is also perfect place to awaken your wisdom and to broaden your horizon.

The place is getting more serene vibe at night. The lights at the restaurant's veranda adds that relaxing vibe to it. The whole place exudes calmness that would make you feel sitting there and watch the ocean's tranquil water from afar.

This resort provides a relaxing and unique experiences for every guest. I highly recommend this to people who loves soul searching and to those who wants to be relax even just for a day. This is also good place for family outing, friends get together, company team building ,wedding, birthday, and those who just want to have a relaxing day with love ones.
