Japanese Garden in Cavinti Laguna is a 3 hour drive away from the metro. Because of the cool and fresh atmosphere , It is one of many best weekend getaway spots of people who would like to take a breather from the bustle of the metro.

If you guys must know, I am proud ‘Cavintinian’. I was born and raised in this amazing town of Cavinti. I have been in this garden countless times already and this is probably one of my favorite spots in town. Being a big fan of Japanese Anime/cartoons is maybe the reason why I keep coming back here over and over and I was always thinking that going to this place is the best way to get connected to Japan.

Japanese Garden is a memorial park and was established by Japanese Government in the 1970’s as a remembrance of Japanese soldiers who died during the Second World War. According to my grandparents It is the burial site of the famous Yamashita and many believes that the Yamashita treasure was buried somewhere here. This maybe the reason why I still keep coming back here lol!
